I am hosting a "retro ladies luncheon" and would like to serve quintissential 1950's fare. I plan on starting the festivities by serving Grasshoppers and Brandy Alexanders for cocktails with Frank Sinatra playing in the background. To ensure that everyone won't be too schnockered after the cocktails, I plan to serve lunch. What did people eat in the 1950's???? Any advice for a luncheon menu? Cold tomato gelatin mold with cream cheese balls? Any help greatly appreciated!
