My husband and I have been arguing about how to reduce a sauce. He claims based on physics that to reduce a sauce you need the cover on. He says that the pressure from the lid will make the steam come out faster and that the sauce will reduce more quickly. I know that taking the lid off will reduce the sauce faster. Please respond as soon as possible so that we can resolve this, you may just save our marriage.
