tube pan/spring-form pan

HELP!!! I have a recipe that calls for a tube pan. I went & bought all the ingredients for the cake, & discovered I don't have a tube pan!!! Can I cook this cake in a spring-form pan??? The recipe calls for the removal of the sides, 15 minutes after the cake comes out of the oven - so I HOPE I can use my spring-form pan. HELP!!!
