In Response To: Cook-Rite Pressure Cooker Info Needed (Gunner)

HEY FOLKS! I HAVE THE ANSWER!!!! It seems that Sears must have bought out cook-rite. I have a Sears 16 Qt. Model 620.46000 all parts are interchangable. Seals, valves, gauge, everything fits the Cook-rite Model A You can order them from sears or where ever you buy your other parts. Good luck Rick

I recently aquired a large Cook-Rite Model A pressure cooker and am
: looking for a gasket. I was told by the previous owner that
: Sears had them, but Sears is unable to help me. I suspect that
: this was made in the early 50's, but is so well made, that I'd
: like to use this for canning. Gage, tipper, jar racks are all in
: good condition. Any info on sources or links would be
: appreciated greatly.
