I just returned from New Orleans and I fell in love with the mufallatas. I see on the recipe exchange there is a recipe for the olive salad used on this sandwich. That was my first question. My second question is: does anyone know if there is a special mufallata bread that you use or is it just any round flat bread? The bread we had tasted different than regular french bread.
